Marxist Theories of Crisis and the Current Economic Crisis

Abstract

This paper uses data from the US economy and finds that among Marxist theories of crisis the marxian law of the falling rate of profit as a result of the increasing composition of capital explains the crisis of the 1970s and the end of the “golden age” of capital accumulation. Despite the dramatic increase in the rate of surplus value and the limited fall in the capital-output ratio profitability has not recovered sufficiently during the neoliberal period due to the survival of lagging capitals and the increasing use of unproductive labor. Financialization is one of the effects of low profitability. In the recent years financial bubbles the associated wealth effects and the significant increase in the debt of all domestic sectors raised aggregate demand and provided the stimulus for the anemic growth of the period. The break of the bubbles implies the return to the weak fundamentals of the real economy and possibly a deep and prolonged period of stagnation and crisis.     

我国农民专业合作社利益协调机制的法律分析

现阶段我国农民专业合作社发展形势良好,其中政府的大力扶持发挥着重要作用。农民专业合作社的长远发展离不开自身管理机制的完善。如何发挥农民专业合作社自身的能动性,增强其应对市场的竞争力,实现农民专业合作社设立的目标,是目前农民专业合作社发展中的难题。文章认为农民专业合作社内部利益协调机制的完善是解决此难题的核心环节,并针对实际中存在的问题提出对策。     

WAGE‐RISE CONTRACT AND QUANTITY COMPETITION WITH PROFIT‐MAXIMIZING AND LABOUR‐MANAGED FIRMS

This paper examines the behaviours of a profit‐maximizing firm and a labour‐managed profit‐per‐worker‐maximizing firm in a two‐stage quantity‐setting model with a wage‐rise contract as a strategic commitment. The paper then shows that there exists a unique equilibrium that coincides with the Stackelberg solution where the profit‐maximizing firm is the leader and the labour‐managed firm is the follower.     

商业银行客户——利润双导向营销模式研究

客户—利润双导向营销模式需要商业银行根据顾客的需求不断开发新的产品和新的服务,发掘新的利润空间。本文以国内A银行采取的客户—利润双导向营销模式为例进行研究,分析结果表明,这种营销模式能够提高客户满意度和竞争力。同时,商业银行还需要以客户为中心实现全行营销,加强现代科技手段的营销,有针对性地对客户提供个性化服务。     

Impact of youth injuries on the uninsured farm family's economic viability

The objective of this study is to estimate the impact of youth injuries on the uninsured farm family's economic viability. Using farm prototypes, we compared farm profits with costs of farm youth injuries. We built profit models for two types of farms, dairy and soybean farms. Then we estimated the cost impact of farm youth injuries of different levels of severity on a farm family with no health insurance. A severe child injury that requires at least 10 days of hospitalisation would cost almost equal to the operating profit of the average dairy farm with no health insurance and would turn the operating profit of the average soybean farm into a severe loss of $99,499. Prevention of child agricultural injuries would significantly improve the financial situation for farm families that lack health insurance.     

抛开得失争议善用移民人才——亚洲开发银行《变移民之失为得-利用海外专业人才》述评

随着全球人才竞争日趋激烈，移民人才的利用问题引起了世界各国的空前重视。亚洲开发银行出台的《变移民之失为得-利用海外专业人才》报告，从政府动员移民的能力、为移民提供的机会和移民归国效力的动机这三个方面对中国、菲律宾和阿富汗三国开展调查，并提出了相关政策建议。文章对该报告进行了简要评述，并结合该报告观点和我国实际情况提出了针对性的建议。     

《墨子》的海外流传及其英译

《墨子》在海外汉学研究中日渐受到重视。《墨子》的英译及其在海外的流传，推动了英语世界人们对墨子及墨学的认识，扩大了《墨子》的世界影响，形成英语世界对《墨子》的关注与国内墨学复兴的呼应。

在实地调查的基础上阐述了山核桃产业在浙江农村经济发展中的重要支撑作用,分析了影响山核桃产业经营收益的关键因素,包括:林地产权政策、传统经营模式、农资成本、价格波动、支撑保障体系等,并从政策层面提出进一步完善林地产权、推行现代经营模式、实施农资成本补贴、防范价格风险、完善支撑保障体系等进一步提高山核桃产业经营收益的应对策略。
